Bissy (bizzy) tea is a traditional Jamaican tea made from the kola nut. Which is supposed to have properties that help to detoxify you, to cleanse your system. It certainly does have someĀ health benefits, it contains ingredients which have been linked to nutritional benefit, and helping with naturalĀ detoxification.
ToĀ make, grate the nuts, and pour 1/2 cup of hot water over one tablespoon of grated or ground nuts. You may sweeten theĀ teaĀ with honey or sugar. Some people add ginger or mint. Enjoy theĀ teaĀ hot or cold.
